The Situation

Olympus Infotech Pvt Ltd, Chennai, is looking for XML/HTML Conversion Specialist who will support the conversion development and be responsible for conversion, creating/modifying XSL/DTD and quality assurance.

The Position

XML/HTML Conversion Specialist

ROLE:   This individual will primarily be responsible for XML/HTML coding, XSL/DTD modification.  He/she will assure the quality of data.

RESPONSIBILITES

·         Extracting input from the source file (PDF, PMD, etc.)

·         Formatting text as necessary to match (content/style) the source input

·         Meet the customer specifications with 100% quality

·         Xml/html coding with Unicode values

·         Verifying quality of converted data

·         Troubleshoot problematic files

·         Analyzing the XSL and DTD for modification

·         Validating and providing an error-free text

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

·         2+ years of working experience and knowledge in DocBook DTD

·         Must be willing to work in SHIFTS

·         Computer literate on PC platform

·         Proficient in Editor tool (UltraEdit, etc.)

·         Proficient in Xmlspy, etc.

·         Knowledge in “Epsilon” software would be an added advantage

·         Knowledge in VB Application (Macros in VB) experience would be an added advantage
