The Situation

Olympus Infotech Pvt Ltd, Chennai, is looking for Ad Production Designers/Graphic Designers who will support the display and classified ads development and be responsible for creation, development and quality assurance.

The Position

Ad Production Designers/Graphic Designers

ROLE:   This individual will primarily be responsible for display ad creation/building of automobile, real estate and retail/recruitment advertising, using Quark/InDesign/PageMaker.  He/she will assure the quality of photos and artwork scanned to set standards, will save ads under the correct file formats, adjust color, and remove imperfections form artwork.

RESPONSIBILITES

·          Verifies ad artwork and layout creation/build

·          Build/Layout display ads to various sizes

·          Verifying quality of Scanned line art, grayscale and 4-color photos for all advertisements

·          Troubleshoot problem artwork

·          Adjust color and process and scanned art in PhotoShop to “clean-up” imperfections

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

·          2+ years of working experience and knowledge in Classified/Display Advertisement creations

·          Must be willing to work in SHIFTS

·          Computer literate on PC/MAC platform

·          Proficient in graphic software (PhotoShop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, etc.)

·          Proficient in QuarkXpress, InDesign, PageMaker, etc.

·          Knowledge in “Multi Ad Creator” software would be an added advantage

·          Cover designs & STM Publishing experience would be an added advantage
